Meet Dr Elsjé Jordaan
Dr Elsjé Jordaan is a highly respected sport scientist with extensive national and international coaching experience. As the founder and driving force behind Sportisimo, she is deeply involved in the design and development of every programme, ensuring that each offering is scientifically grounded, practically applicable and truly impactful.
Her approach goes beyond teaching how to coach. She places strong emphasis on what to coach and why it matters, helping coaches, players and leaders gain a deeper understanding of performance, development and purpose. Through her vision and leadership, Sportisimo has earned a reputation for excellence, integrity and a genuine commitment to developing people through sport, both on and off the field.
Our Story
Sportisimo was established in 2001 by sport scientist Dr Elsjé Jordaan with a clear vision: to develop players, coaches and teams through a multi-disciplinary approach that goes beyond technical training. From the beginning, Sportisimo focused on developing the whole person, recognising that sustainable performance requires emotional strength, mental clarity and physical readiness.
Over the years, Sportisimo has grown into a trusted partner for schools and organisations across South Africa, offering high-quality courses, leadership programmes, analytics and camps that consistently deliver meaningful impact.
